Hermione Lee honoured for contributions to biography

We were proud to learn that our founding director, Professor Dame Hermione Lee, has been given a Biographers International Organization (BIO) Award for her contributions to biography. The judges highlighted not only the excellence of Hermione's work as a biographer and as a theorist of biography but also her establishment of the Oxford Centre for Life-Writing, bringing the study of biography into higher education in an exciting and exemplary way.
