Things pertinent,
matter no more!
Things buried,
now come to light.
Comics, dust-layered and moth-eaten,
bangles, of various hues, unworn!
Albums, evoking faded memories
lay concealed in unopened cupboards.
Rugs, rolled into dark corners
that once covered the barren floors!
Numerous books, books and books,
watching and waiting with words to be read.
Five things, which I now indulge in
that keep me happy, alive and going on!
