Sarah Gleeson-White is Associate Professor in English (American Literature) at the University of Sydney. She is the author of, most recently, Silent Film and the Formations of U.S. Literary Culture: Literature in Motion (Oxford UP 2024), and co-editor of The New William Faulkner Studies (Cambridge UP 2022). She has published widely on early 20th-century U.S., including African American, literature, print culture and film, and is now at the Centre working on her new book project, Wallace Thurman, 1922-1934: Black Authorship and Print Culture Between the Wars.
