Emma Parker is a postdoctoral researcher at the Oxford Centre for Life Writing where she is employed on the 'Lives in Medicine' project. She recently completed her PhD at the University of Leeds and has published articles in Wasafiri, Life Writing, Moving Worlds and Auto/Biography Studies. Emma is currently co-editing a collection of essays for Manchester University Press entitled British Culture After Empire: Migration, Race and Decolonisation (2021).
