Rose of Temperaments

The colour of imaginary rain
falling forever on your old address…

In the last years of the eighteenth century, writers Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Friedrich Schiller created Die Temperamentenrose, in which colours represented people's temperaments and occupations.

If you had to choose some colours, as many as you like, to represent you right now, what would those colours be? Do they relate to something tangible, such as a view or an object nearby, or is it something more abstract?

For inspiration you could look online at colour cards from paint companies. You could include the colour's name or name it yourself, as in the quotation above from Helen Mort's poem, Purple
